Went to dinner with my family for my birthday today~ I dragged Yuri along too, which she was fine with because she got free food out of the deal, haha. It was nice~ BJ's food is so good! Especially pazookie for dessert, omg. Best. Dessert. EVER. Also, my family got me stuff I actually asked for for my birthday (season 2 of That 70's Show, Ghibli dvd's, Roxy perfume), so yay for what I actually wanted rather than random crap, haha. So even though it wasn't a super exciting birthday (I still had to work ^_^;;), it was pretty nice~ Looking forward to dinner and karaoke on Friday with my friends! I'm sad about some of the people who can't come, but such is life~ It'll still be fun! :D
So I don't know how I got so far in my life without having seen
this. Omg, Ohmiya. Even your fellow members don't understand you. XDDD Reminds me of
this video, starting from around 3:30. What are we going to do with these two, seriously.
...So anyways, moving on. XD Time to fulfill some of those Top 5 assignments! Of course, these are all off the top of my head, so if I were to do these again another time, my answers would probably be totally different, haha.
Top 5 things you can't stand
1. Trying to sleep when it's hot, which has been happening a lot since, you know, it's summer. XD It makes me feel gross and it's hard to sleep.
2. Otakus, or generally, anyone who thinks they know a lot about Japan when they actually don't know anything. Like, I kind of got really irritated when I was talking (to someone else!) about how I speak Japanese, and this girl was like, "Oh, aren't there four dialects of Japanese?" and I was like "...uh, I'm pretty sure there are a lot more than four." People who you mention the word Japan and they're like JAPAN IS AWESOME they have sushi and anime and yay! But they don't even know what they're talking about, because they think everything about Japan is amazing and that is definitely not true, because as much as I love Japan, there is a lot of bad stuff too. Or people who, like, seek out Japanese people and, if they find one, cling to them. Because apparently, being Japanese = being automatically awesome (which, believe me, is not the case). This is turning into a rant, sorry. ^_^;;
3. People who are rude to others unnecessarily. It bothers me kind of a lot when people think the world revolves around them and don't even try to consider the position of other people.
4. When things aren't in their proper places. I am kind of OCD about certain things, haha. Like, everything on my dresser has to be lined up nicely and facing forwards or I CANNOT GET ON WITH MY LIFE. Or like, if I'm taking notes or something, and one pen dies and I have to switch to a different pen, it kind of really bothers me. I have issues, I know.
5. Coleslaw. GROSSEST FOOD EVER. Even the smell makes me want to gag. Thinking about it right now is sort of grossing me out. :x
Top 5 favorite foods
1. Curry. I went though so much of my life not knowing how amazing curry is. So many wasted years. ;_;
2. Chocolate, my first true food love. My mom tells this story of when I was a baby and she fed me ice cream for the first time and it was vanilla and I didn't really like it, and then she fed me some chocolate ice cream and I ate it all. Yup, that's me. :D
3. Anything with anko and/or mochi. An-pan, daifuku, mochi ice cream, etc. Japanese sweets are so fantastic. Again, so many wasted years!
4. Ice cream in general. Can you tell I have a sweet tooth?
5. Rice, in its many amazing forms. Even long before I was interested in Japan, I said I should be Asian because I could so eat rice every day, haha. So good!
Top 5 fetishes (Because someone just had to go there, haha.)
1. Voice. I have always been this way. A guy with a gorgeous singing voice will definitely make me swoon. Here's a
non-fandom example. Augh, my heart~ If a guy sang a song like this to me (and if his voice was a good as Ewan McGregor's), I might die. ♥ Fandom-wise, I could listen to people like
Ohno and
Tegoshi sing all day and I'll be like *___* Ugh. ♥ And it doesn't have to just be singing either, because
Sho's rapping voice kills me like whoa.
2. Hair. The first thing I notice about a guy is his hair. A person's hair says a lot about them, I think. I have always liked longish hair on a guy, which is probably part of why I fell so hard for JE boys, haha. Like,
Yamapi's hair looks amazing in this performance as does the rest of him, dklskdjksd. His hair just looks so soft and silky and perfect and I just want to run my fingers through it and the color suits him really well too. Or like,
3/5 of Arashi in the Beautiful Days PV. Aiba's hair recently too. I love when he has it sort of curly and messy and dslkdkls words. They fail me.
3. Guys who are good with kids. I don't know how much of a maternal instinct I really have, haha, but I love kids, and when guys are good with kids, it's just...yeah. ♥
I'm looking at you, Sho.4. When guys are wearing dress shirts with maybe one or two more buttons than necessary unbuttoned. *___* Like, taking
this picture as an example, Aiba has too many unbuttoned, Sho should unbutton one more, but Nino's just about right. ♥ Feel free to spam me with examples of this. Please.
5. Guys in white tank tops. I am so weak against this. ;_; Like
this famous example (it starts about around 0:27. For some reason I had the hardest time finding a clip of this :x). Or like,
this crappy screencap from Kurosagi where if you watch the actual scene, Yamapi was really hot, omg. Even though I'm spending the most time looking for stuff for this, I'm not finding very good examples. D:
Sorry if this sort of became tl;dr, haha. Especially on the first one. ^_^;; I thought I would have a really hard time coming up with a top 5 fetishes, but once I thought about it, it wasn't really that hard~ Which I'm not sure what that says about me, but. This took me kind of a long time (although I thoroughly enjoyed doing it, believe me), so I'll do the other ones later. And if anyone still hasn't given me a top 5 you want me to do, by all means! :D
...I started listening to All the Best from the beginning, and I'm on Believe now. Do I ever get tired of listening to Arashi? Evidently not. ♥
