hi, everybody! i miss you all so much. but i'm having a really great time here. hannah guillory and grant hunter are my LIFE and i adore them. seriously. way too many inside jokes to list and it's only day 5. ASAKAAAA!
the mt classes are fantastic. carolyn kirsch is the head teacher and she might be the most encouraging/energetic teacher i have ever had in my LIFE. we've done a lot of uta hagen related stuff in her class that has been AMAZING. some anne bogart, too. i love her so much. vocal class is okay. we're doing some stuff from fame, which is pretty cool, and we're reviewing basic music theory because there are some people who really don't have it down, so that's kind of boring. but it's fun, too.
one of our dance teachers came and taught us a combo from swing and another dance teacher (who was in the last 4 years of cats on broadway, btw!) is coming next week to teach. i'm a dance captain?! me and my friend kayla. haha interesting. seeing as ol' boy can't dance. it's cool, though. carolyn appointed me and i felt really cool.
my first elective class was personal theatre, and i'm taking that for the first 2 weeks after lunch. it is AMAZING. one of the best acting classes i've had in my life. i've had a gajillion breakthroughs and it's only the 5th day. bwaaaah!
the people here are amazing. amazingly talented and amazingly amazing people in general. i love all my new northern friends, new AFRICAN friends, new TURKISH friends, etc. it's so cool. i love this place. even though it is HOT. and the dorms have no AC. i feel you, courtney. anyway-- i have to figure out who i'm staying with for home weekend...hmmmm. hannah, grant, and i may all go to our friend alex's house in bethel, CT. haha we shall see.
we had ballet this morning with the dancers. NOCCA kids-- jarina knows her stuff. hahaha. because we looked like BALLET DANCERS!
there was this concert by la cumbiamba NY last night that everyone went to. SO much fun. again-- i love all these people. except like one or two. aka PIRANHA AND ASAKA!
i am visiting courtney and brett. somehow. i might come home a day late. hmmmm.
i'm rambling. i would type out all the amazing things that have happened and the amazing times i've had so far, but i am so floofy right now. haha i love you all so much! know that i'm thinking about all of you and i miss each and every one of you so much it's not even funny.
