COMPULSORY UPDATE TIIIIIIIME! wahoo! okay. so last weekend = josh being grounded. they only really enforced it on "one night of the weekend." i was exhausted friday so i picked that one and sang and danced in my room all night long. josh smith, mt nerd since 1991.
saturday = ANAHEIM REHEARSAL FROM 12:30 TO 7:00. whoaaa that was a long day. i had fun, though. i'm really excited about the show. we learned all of the music for our 30 minute vendor show, and we open with "once upon a time," which sam belts the SCHMARGLE out of. ljkasdf yayyyy! anyway-- i love all of those people so much. so so so excited. haha after rehearsal, blake promised us dinner, but capitol police were closing everything up. we totally ate pizza in the parking lot. singing and dancing around is always fun with food.
afterwards, courtney drove me home, and i walked to TCBY to meet up with liz because amberoni was working. which means free iced cream. which ALWAYS means the two of us show up. fun times. we talked about all her crazy weird stuff. i love you! things'll get better, i swear. there's some silver lining somewhere. stayed there for a little bit until shelby came to pick up liz. walked back home.
and now this weekend!
NOCCA fun, doing monologue, which went surprisingly well, going by what jefferson said, lalala. NOCCA is so great. i'm happy i'm there. even though my voice is dying a sad, slow death.
okay, you guys are gonna think i'm really cool in 3, 2, 1... later that night, i went to my very first OCTOBERFEST WITH MISS ELIZABETH AMELIE HAYMAN! aljksdf oh my gosh. drunken revelry = cool. especially when you just watch it like me. hahaha. but singing german drinking songs, such as a ROUSING rendition of "in heaven there is no beer," pigging out, et cetera et cetera et cetera. SO MUCH FUN. i'm going again every year now. pictures might come. if liz ever gives them to me.
today i had anaheim rehearsal with jefferson since blake's out of town. being in the "coffee in a cardboard cup" group now is SO MUCH FUN. anyway. rehearsal was cool. we still have a lot to do, though. 2 weeks-ish!
ANYWAY! after rehearsal, ashley brought me straight to sarah's for dinner before le ben franklin homecoming! i. had. so. much. fun. seriously-- i love my friends. a lot. so, sarah? ashley? courtney? janie? chris? brian? sam? i love you. all of you. and all the random people i saw at the dance. including a certain brian langhoff! hahaha. that's for you, erica/ meggo.
DANCED THE NIGHT AWAAAAAAY! super fun. doing blake's freak out combination made US feel amazing, but made everyone else think we were the biggest losers ever. which we are. but that makes us SO COOL in my book. sam and i had a blasssssst. we are cool dates.
