ok, well i know i just updated like 5 minutes ago. BUT! i got some other interesting stuff to write. about how good i feel today, not only because of last night, but also for my duties of helping around the house and being able to play "detective" for an hour. hehe.
so it was a dark and stormy night......*WWOOooooSSSssshhhHHH!!!*(thats the wind..)
ok, i joke, its not really dark and stormy outside. i just remembered that from JB last year. ah, good times. funny tabaqui/tabaqoo
anywho, today at like 1:45, this dude calls from a 305 area code and its a collect call. mom thinks it our brother from miami, that something has happened and its serious. so she accepts. so its not him, it from a correctional institute in miami and this guy is telling her that he got into a car accident this morning and his 2 year old girl is in ocala and if nobody picks her up by 5pm, shes going into foster care. so he gives mom a number to call, his mom that works for West Marion hospital, and to get ahold of her to pick the girl up. so she got off the phone with him, told the story to me, and i was just "oh really, thats nice" kinda of thing. i wasnt paying good attention, or otherwise i would have stopped her from making the call. since the number started off as *721, and then the number. weird i know.
so the phone rings and rings, but no one answers, mom gets a voice message of some lady saying that she is not there and to leave a message. bad idea to call. cause a couple of seconds afterwards, the phone rings...actually it only makes one ring. then hangs up, rings again, only once and then hangs up. weird. and on the caller i.d. it shows up as "no data". so then we call west marion personally, and ask if there is this lady that works there, and the second we said it, the lady knew what we were talking about and that we need to hang up and call the police/phone company. our phone is being hacked into. uh oh...
so mom calls the OPD and say that they can't do anything becuase the calls are coming from miami. whatever. call the phone company, and he gives us a number to call to see if that'll get rid of them trying to hook into our line. the reason there into the phone line, is to use it for out of country calls. to make a long story short, i use my detective reasoning to figure out what to do and how to stop it. it seems as though he took our fax number, but then with the number from Sprint(our phone company), we got it back. i call the fax number and it gets my number. but then i call Mrs. Montigny and ask her to fax something to us and make sure it works. she does it, and we're good, i get the fax. whew. call her back, tell her the story and not to pick up any calls from a payphone in a 305 area code. whew, what a day.
i think we're good, i think. if not, i shall spread the news as well. but to let all you peoples in ocala aware, dont pick up a call from a payphone from miami. this is crazy. time for me to go eat, we leave tonight for OCT @ 6ish. the show starts at 7:30. christopher is performing tonight, student night. i'll be there with my love of my life. and tomorrow night i perform, opening night. dun dun dun!!!!!
