24 July 2009

Alright, that's quite enough.

I've heard this from more people than I would like and I must know just who exactly is the one spreading the rumour involving me and an apron?!

Whatever you've heard, whoever you heard it from, it's all baseless prattle - probably made up by some nosey parker who was bored and looking for amusement at my ( Read more... )

no aprons were harmed in this post, {post type: blog}

That depends on the sort of apron.

...

One certainly can't go wrong with a bow.

Wait, what?

What does a bowtie have to do with anything?

...

Not a bowtie. A bow on the apron. That would be best.

Though I have heard it is best you stay out of the kitchen, anyway.

Well, there was no apron so the point is moot whether or not a bow would look good on it.

And who exactly did you hear this from?

I hadn't heard the rumor before you posted this.

Well! Then...better to tell you in advance that if you hear such a rumour, it's not true.

What's wrong with an apron?

Ah, it's not the apron per se. It's what I did-- No, what I allegedly did while wearing an apron.

Mr. Kirkland, addressing a rumor oftentimes helps spread the rumor...

A-ah... Well, I'm of the opinion that nipping rumours in the bud is the best route to go.

To each his own then.

Though I must admit... you have gotten me interested in this "rumor". An apron, you say. I can only assume...

Cooking! It involved a cooking incident! That's all! No need to assume!

Nevermind what I just told a certain Norweigan.

There's no shame in wearing an apron, you know.

I don't see why anyone would be so angry about an apron...

...Yes you're quite right! Nothing to be ashamed of at all! Nothing, really...

Unless you were naked with just an apron?

Is that what this about?

... you're strange.

Wha-Whatever makes you think that?

Rumors? Can't say I've heard any rumors. Aren't aprons just practical when, say, cooking?

You know, I think I've got some great designer aprons sitting in a closet somewhere! Maybe I'll swing by sometime and drop a couple off since you're new to the neighborhood and all and I totally haven't had a chance to be neighborly and give you a housewarming present. ;D

That would be very nice of you...I live on the sixth floor in the Centralia apartments. Just give tell in advance when you're coming, or the apartment might be a bit messy...

lol I totally just had a blonde moment there. XD I meant to reply to Arthur since we both live in the New Brampton neighborhood BUT I'm so down with spreading the joy of designer clothes (and aprons!) that I'll so swing by at some point anyway. :DDD
