by the grace of some god, i managed to get my cumulative GPA to a 3.8. which means, if i get honors (which i think there may be a 50% chance i do), i'll graduate suma cum laude (sp?)! i don't know exactly what that entails, but as a couple notable people have pointed out, it looks like it says "some cum loudly" which is a priceless thing for your degree to say.
sorry i promise never to talk about grades again! i'm just super hoping i get that because i think it'd be pretty neat. also considering how many people at this school think i'm a moron, it'd be nice to set the record straight. A++ bitches.
anyway yesterday was busy. caitlin trimmed my hair [is there any better feeling?], my roomies moved out forever [i'd be more sad had they not left a ton of their shit their for me to deal with. by which i mean throw out.] then there was a lovely barbeque at chrissie's, which is the best apartment in this town (mostly for that slick fucking turntable), then a feast provided by lloyd (featuring snickers for dessert, nice touch), and a crappy party. senior week has begun, let's see if i can stand being around everyone for one more week. if not i shall run away to new york to see my parents and maybe other people if they're about. tonight, at the very least, we're going to stay the night at tracy and elliott's new digs in brookline.
also i get to see dethklok on june 3rd! brandon is comin' with me and we will see them even if we have no ride and have to sleep in an alley after the show. i feel this is not such a scary thing if you have a great big man to do it with.
