.When letting students coordinate after school rehearsals for a parade, send home permission slips at least 3 times, once being in the mail.
.When coordinating students for a parade, mail letters home at week intervals starting 3 weeks out.
.When working with minority students with high mobility, entitlement issues and nearly non-existent parent/guardian (read as lack of interest or lack of attention due to many sibs &/or multiple jobs), send letter home regularly.
.Get all email addresses and email on a regular basis.
.Get a really big bottle of aspirin.
.Did I mention the aspirin? Tylenol?
.Put together packets for failing students of work missed.
.Put together several opportunities for extra credit. This is thankfully done.
.Find an extra 5 hours a day for these things or give up two Saturdays/month to get it done.
.Get a bigger bottle of Motrin. And lots of St John's wort.
