I'm employed
AJ and I went to his parents' house yesterday and went shopping with Amanda for business attire for me for OFfice Team. I went to the Office Team website Thursday night and saw that I had left some things unanswered, so I fixed that and even found some jobs to apply to. Yesterday morning, one of them called me back, and they wanted me to come in for an interview and to test my skills. I told them that I had already done that with another one of their offices. They checked their records, and sho'nuff, they saw that I had. They said they'd check back with me either later in the day or on Monday for openings. Twenty minutes later, I got a call from the Tysons Corner location about jobs, but I was helping AJ load the truck, so I didn't know the phone rang. Then there was an issue with my references. Then I think I fixed that. They didn't call back, so I assume everything is fine. I called Borders today to see if they had any trouble reaching my references. Christian said he got through just fine and offered me a job there. I go in for orientation Monday at 1:00. AJ and I have to leave White Lake tomorrow night instead of Monday morning because of that. It's cool though, because we're no longer going to Kristen and Nick's wedding today, because I can't find the invitation and can't reach anyone to ask about it. Kristen's cell phone number isn't working, she hasn't checked her MySpace, Frankie didn't reply to my IM or to the message I left on her MySpace either. So AJ and I are going to White Lake a few hours sooner, leaving here at about 2:30 or 3:00. And that's about it.
