Back in Arlington 'til 6/29
My paid account ends tomorrow. I'm gonna try out that sponsored account and see how that goes. I can always revert to free at any time if I don't like it, so whatevah. I'm not going back to paid immediately though, since I'm not sure if I want to keep my LiveJournal. We shall see though. My reasons would be the need for change and all that goodness, but I like keeping in touch with people. I feel like I'm starting a new chapter though, and-- eh, we'll see.
I'm in Arlington! AJ is distracting me while I type. Or he was. Now he's checking stuff on his computer. We ordered Mexican food earlier. I got this spinach artichoke enchilada, but I couldn't eat it, because it was so spicy that it literally brought tears to my eyes. The rice, the beans, and the chips that came with the meal were good though.
So yes... the party was awesome yesterday. I didn't take any pictures, because there were so many cameras. I'll just get copies later. I had so much fun. I forgot to mention in my voice post that Liz and Dorene got Jodie a kitten and named him Reznor. We had fun tiring him out, having him play with his new toys and all. That bugger woke me up at 6:30 this morning with his meowing. I saw that he was low on water, so I gave him some more and sat him in front of the water bowl. He meowed a little bit after that, and I figured he wanted love, but I was too tired to give it, so I fell back asleep. I woke up again at 9:20 and got ready to head out. I woke up Jodie to tell her good-bye, and little Reznor peeked his head from behind Jodie, and it was just too cute.
I got an application sent out the other day... that position at C.A. Dillon: Youth Service Counselor Technician. They always give overly lengthy names these days. Anyway, I hope I hear something from them. While I'm here, I'm going to see if AJ will let me print out copies of my resume on his computer, and then I can send out more applications along with my resume. My resume rocks.
I got a bit of cleaning done in my room while I was home for that week and a half. My mom and I made a deal that I didn't have to have it clean by the time I left this time around since AJ and I will be in NC this weekend, since AJ wanted to spend Father's Day with his dad. So now the plan is leave here Friday morning, go to Stem, work on my room, stay the night, and then we go to AJ's parents' house Saturday and come back to Arlington some time on Sunday.
I guess that's it. I'll post interesting stuff as it happens. Back to watching Date Movie with my hunneh.
