Anyway
So I saw Robert today, just after we had finished lunch here at the house. I wasn't sure if I was going, but then he called my cell phone, and I asked my mom if it was cool, and it was, so I left about fifteen minutes later. It's about 30-40 minutes from here to his apartment, and I had no problem at all getting over there. We watched a bit of Shark Tale with his roommate Matt and Matt's girlfriend Dottie, and then Robert and I went to a housewarming party he was invited to. We had to find another route, since the road he knew was closed, so I said to him, "Now we're going on an adventure!" I don't mind getting lost with people, so long as I'm not the one driving. And lately, I haven't even had much of a problem when I get lost. I think perhaps enough of my orienting myself from random exits on the interstate from here to Arlington and back has helped me out a bit. Anyway, the housewarming party was cool. I was really nervous and quiet at first, because I didn't know anyone and didn't know what to say. But then I got to know a couple of people, and they were all really nice. The couple there has a three-year-old daughter named Jocelyn, and she is effin adorable. She wanted to play Hide and Seek with me. Anyway, I had a fun time today.
My mom asked me a few minutes ago, "Have you ever noticed Patricia Arquette has your teeth?" "My teeth?" "Yah, you know how your front teeth hang a little low and your eye teeth poke out a bit? Hers do the same thing." That description may be a little off. But you've seen pictures of me, so you know what I look like. Anyway, how random.
Oh, and about my fall yesterday. I was trying to figure how I scraped my elbow the way I did based on how I fell. I would have had to do a bit of a scoop with my elbow for it to happen the way it did, so here's my conclusion: I tried to save the milk. While it was too late for me, I felt that the milk could survive. Which it did. Anyway, a job well-done.
Before I forget, today is my dad's 50th birthday. Here are a couple of cards we made and e-mailed to him:
