Long entry ahead, with many pictures

So let's start with today.

Work 8-11, studying and working on figuring out how I go about consolidating my loans. My mom was under the impression that I needed to consolidate before graduation. Still dealing with that after work, and I called College Foundation and learned that I need to consolidate after graduation in order to keep the grace period. The lady said I'd keep my interest rate too, and that I had until June 15th and not June 30th (like it said in the letter we received from CFI). At any rate, that sounded fine. I can just work on it next week. Then Fuji showed me DOUG on YouTube, and I found an episode of Rocko's Modern Life, but I didn't have time to watch it before running off to eat lunch and hoping homies were there. Margaret, Amanda, Jen, and that guy (Adam? Not the Adam who reads my journal) were there, so that was good. Amanda got a new wheelchair, but she's left-handed, and the forward thingie is on the right handle bar. So Jen did the sensible thing...

... and hijacked her wheelchair. Amanda needed us to get a book from her dorm room, since she couldn't reach where it was, and on the way, I tried to sell back a book only to find it was only being bought back for $4, so I decided I'd rather keep it and sell it later for a much better price. Then we went to Amanda's room for a bit. Jen and I left and realized that this might be the last time we'd be seeing each other, we had a really, really long hug in her room, and I got teary-eyed. That's happened about three times in the past couple of weeks. I haven't had a real cry yet. I figure it'll hit me in a week or two, and if nothing else, in August when I'm not preparing to go back to school.

Then I hung out with Tim. He bought me a Jack and Coke at New York Pizza in celebration of my leaving this fine institution. We watched a bit of the Colbert Report, and then he helped me study. I was ranting about my psych stuff while having a bit of a buzz, and any edge of anxiety I had had beforehand had fizzled away.

It took me about an hour to take the exam. Paul already put the grades on Blackboard. I didn't know one of the answers, but I figured that I would make an attempt at it anyway, and I got a 91 out of a possible 110 points. So I got an A in the class.

So, to review:

PSY 471: B
SOC 390: B+ (Did I tell you that?)
PSY 433: A (Paul put that up earlier)
PSY 360: A

In conclusion, Miki made the Dean's List again. I go four years without making it, and then the last year, I make the Dean's List twice. I obviously made a good decision in not spreading myself too thin like in past years. I'm just so proud of myself. =)

Okie, so today was my last exam and tomorrow is my last day of work. I was trying to see if I could work Thursday, but I can't, because I won't really be considered a student, and so Student Employment can't employ me.

Anyway, after my exam, I went to Addam's in another failed attempt to sell back my SOC 390 book, and then I went to Sister's and bought my mom a Mother's Day present. Sure, Daniel and I already got her one (more like Daniel got her one, and I owe him $30 for it), but I felt that since she got her present so early, she'd be disappointed if she were empty-handed on Sunday. So I got her a cool incense burner for cones, and I got two boxes of incense cones. Oh, and I got a free pack of matches, not that she uses them. But in case of loss of lighter fluid... she's set. Then I went to my room to drop off the present and switch my shoes, since my sandals were digging into me. And now I'm wearing my cheap shower shoes I bought at some thrift store back in October.

And then I went to work. And at work, I decided to resize pictures, so I could post them on here and not worry about them eating away at my storage space so quickly.

I'm gonna miss everyone here. I realized that I had pictures on my USB drive from one of the last coffee hours Olivia and I had (April 12).

Olivia and I were calmly conversing when Laura snuck up on us at the other side of the window.
I had her recreate this moment.

Since I couldn't get Olivia and Laura in the picture at the same time (since I wouldn't stand up), I took this picture.
One of the EUC workers got a kick out of all of this.

And then Laura came back inside.

And then I saw pictures from the Waffle House with Holly and Phillip (April 13).

Phillip was quoting Ron White throughout the meal.
I remember this.

I guess Holly didn't realize I was taking the picture until after I took it.

And then there's my Photoshopped version of the cup of coffee I had.

And I started catching up with Ben this semester, particularly in the last month or so. We met at the EUC for lunch a couple of times, and then one day he called me while I was in Jen's room, so the three of us made plans to eat lunch (April 18). Laura surprised me by hiding behind a plant in the lobby of the EUC outside of the food court, shaking the leaves, being noticed by everyone but me. Anyway, pictures...

Laura and Ben

Extreme close-up!

Jen eating my hat... naturally

And then there was dinner at the Caf two nights later (April 20)!

Marshall sporting Brandon's hat, and Jen sporting no hat

Action shot. Jen took this.
I'm blinking, Jen's posing, Marshall's fighting with gravity.

Marshall looking especially gangsta in the hat.

As does Margaret.

I look confuzzled.
Devin looks happy.

Jen and Amanda

And then hanging in Jen's room last week, when Devin, Lemone, and I carried Amanda inside, because we're good friends.

Amanda making faces at me

Meet Lemone, since I'm sure this is the first picture I've posted of her

Geeky folks...

And then there was a bee or a hornet or something with a stinger.
It was on the stairs on my way up to my room after hanging.

Then the next day, there was the RCA Tea Party, which I have no pictures of. But I have a few pictures of the dinner we RCAs had afterwards.

Mac, Glenn, and Lynette

Terrence hiding, Leslie, Camerin

Amanda

The waiter took two group pictures. This is the best because Amanda is in it.
I was trying to tell the waiter how to work my camera...

And then I met up with Gretchen and Caroline at the Lager Haus briefly after the RCA dinner.

And then there was Sunday, when me and Gretchen spent some roomie time together!

It all started when Erica came by to say good-bye,
and I realized I had no pictures of her.

As Gretchen and I ventured to the basement, we saw Chris.

And Lati and Brandon.

And then it was on!
The playing field!

Commies vs Whiteys

The G vs the O.G.

On like Diddy Kong!
Too bad it wasn't on Pay-Per-View.

I also have pictures on my phone, like of Erica and Tyler looking cute right before Erica left, and then some swing swing time with Gretchen and Caroline from the other week. I'd have to send them to my e-mail to post them though, so maybe another day.
