La la la la

Life is wonderful. Okay, so today has been cool. Got up a little earlier than I wanted to, and my sleep has been icky, because I think I'm still a little thrown off with the time change, but I'll get used to it. I was oh, so productive at work. Before 8:30, I had already clocked in, checked in, refilled the printer, had all the PCs turned on in my lab, had printed out the lab hours for my lab and the lab upstairs (which is also my lab, but I don't spend my time in there), printed out the lab consultant schedules for both labs, printed out lab logs for the lab upstairs, and turned in some lost items from the lab. So I felt pretty good about myself there. So there's that.

I've been keeping my camera with me lately. I don't take enough pictures. I still feel like I should have taken more, because I hung out with Tim at NYP (Yah, you know me! I wonder if that joke is getting old. Or if anyone is getting it at all...) before he had to go to work, and I didn't get any pictures of him. I had dinner with Laura, and I didn't get any pictures of her. I want to document my last 30ish days here.

Yesterday, in pictures:

Yup. I had a picture of Margaret too, but I decided that it'd be best not to post it, because she didn't like the idea of me taking it in the first place.

Climb me.

Look Up
Bad title, I know. I played with the picture in Photoshop a bit. It may look funky.

I've had fun.

Oh, for those that don't know, I'm sticking around this weekend. I was originally going home for some surprise that my mom has, but she called me yesterday and said that since there are few weeks left, I should try to make some money if possible. I found work for Saturday, so I'm sticking around. And after I made that decision, EVERYTHING started happening. My weekend is PACKED. Tomorrow, Gretchen and I are going to the PRIDE Prom at 8ish, and then we're leaving after a couple of hours to see Khasmir, a Led Zeppelin cover band, at the Blind Tiger. We'll be getting back late (but I don't know if I'll be awake enough to stay until the bar closes, so when I get kinda tired, I'll tell Gretchen that we should head out, since I'm the one driving and need to be alert), and then we can sleep in! Sleeping in shall be wonderful! I'm scheduled to work 4-10 in the SuperLab for my friend Callie, which means that Devon will be there (I subbed for him last Saturday at the same time and worked with Callie)! After work, assuming Emily's going-away party is going on, I'll head out there. I was also invited to Classical Studies Jen's "I have no medical insurance!" party, but I don't think I'll be going, since... Emily... is having a going-away party. She's moving to California with her husband Brian, who is in the marines now. And then Sunday, I'm going to the 2:00 showing of O Pioneers, which is a play that Peavey is in. I heard about it from... Peavey, when I was sitting with him for breakfast Monday morning. And I remembered Wednesday night when I saw his away message up about the play. Tim and I walked by the box office in the EUC this afternoon, and I decided to buy a ticket for Sunday, since I couldn't go at any other time. And then after 7:00, Tim is going to try to show me the ways of Magic: The Gathering, so I can be cute and play with AJ some time. We'll see how that goes.

And....................................... I'm spent.
