update after long break
So LJ informs me that it's been 5 weeks since I updated.
Not much has changed, really.
Still out of work.
Not taking classes since I can't afford them.
Kids are out of school. Swim lessons start next week.
Still with my witchy group and having an awesome time! :)
Still applying for jobs, but with no answer.
Discovered last week that my proof-of-citizenship that I'd been using has now expired.
(long story short - no SS card, that got munched in the mail when I requested it last, and I'd been using my passport in my maiden name and my marriage license as proof of id and citizenship....well, my passport has expired. so now i need a new SS card)
The kids are currently spending the night at gramma's house.
We've planted a garden in the backyard, and today I noticed we've got one corn plant, some summer squash and a couple cucumber plants sprouting. :)
Got a girl who'd like to join my dance troupe - gotta coordinate a meeting so we can all talk and see if we're a good fit. 3 might be lucky! :)
Need to find some good free activities for the kids that won't be inundated with refugees from mexico this summer. UGH. We figured out that if we don't spend any extra, or get any fast food - stick solely to the grocery store, gas and bills...then we can make it on just Andy's check. BAH.
A big part of me doesn't want to work, but I feel like I have to.
And a part of me feels bad that I didnt' just go out and get a Target job just to have incoming $$, but a part of me wants to get a job that'll make me happy and one that I'll love.
This is confusing and stressful.
