Staring at Paul: and saw these awesome italian designer shoes
Staring at Paul: and loved them very very much
Staring at Paul: but they were $400 at 60% off (ie $160)
Staring at Paul: and i was all 'zomg that's a lot of money'
Staring at Paul: so i didn't buy them
Staring at Paul: but over those few weeks i have been wanting them a lot
Staring at Paul: so tonight jen and i went back to dsw
Staring at Paul: and i found them again in the sale rack
Staring at Paul: but i was like, lemme check and make sure i don't like the fit of the larger size better before i buy them
Staring at Paul: so i checked, and the larger size was too big (the european sizes were making me more unsure than i usually am)
Staring at Paul: but as i was returning the larger ones to the box, i noticed that they had a different price sticker on them
Staring at Paul: the size 8 had said they were $150 at 60% off, and i wanted the 7.5 ones, which had the $400 sticker on them
Staring at Paul: so i was like, omg that's a lot of money difference
Staring at Paul: so i take both pairs down to the register and ask what the deal with this is
Staring at Paul: and the cashier calls over the manager
Staring at Paul: long story short, i got the shoes for the cheaper price, ie $62, since the manager said they had to give me the lower price
red velvet Roberto Cavalli pumps. totally. fucking. awesome.
I really think a higher power wanted me to have those shoes. Fate directed everything this evening to make sure that I could not regret buying them. therefore, jen and i plan on building a shrine to the shoe kami.
I will rock Tawes Hall wearing them to graduation.

Now I just need to find something to wear with them.
