Darwin mens: Jesus sandals, cargo shorts, t-shirt. Singlet and thongs if dressing down. Long trousers, shoes and short-sleeved casual woven shirt for dressing up.

For some reason I found this post fascinating!

Jesus sandals ROFL. I used to own a pair of those that I was strongarmed into buying, my sis didn't let me forget it. They were UG-LY!

Do men in Darwin buy anything interesting at all? Answer: most probably not. Darwin women are some of the most practical dressers anywhere, and men'd be doubly so.

Goatsfoot in jesus sandals... I'll get back to you with my reaction as soon as I can stop laughing ;-P

I adore the blue singlet a la chesty bonds look. And the older men wearing the short short stubbies. Ugh ugh ugh

Also, I like the "no-top" look that some men sport at Woollies. Mmm yeah. But the liquor shop has stand-ards and won't let em in! I wasn't allowed in with bare feet the other day!

Noooooo! they can't have stopped you! You are a middle class white woman. All doors but glass ceilings are open to you, aren't they?

Hey I will have to make sure I don't get stopped. I always go through there to get to Woolies. Imagine having to go all the way round to the front entrance of Woolies! Wot a pain.
