Anyone want to go to the Bodies Exhibit tomorrow night?

I haven't been around much lately. Busy with shows, rehearsal, work and hanging out with friends. Friday was our show in Yonkers. The show was alright. The club had the nerve to charge FIVE DOLLARS for bottled water! Can you believe that shit? Not only that, no free water for the bands! I went nuts. Someone brought me water. Club Pure should be "Great White"'d. We're playing there again at the end of March. I'm bringing 40's next time.

Saturday, Ash was supposed to have had a comedy thing at the Underground Lounge in uptown Manhattan. Went with Naama and Sam (Lenny's sister.) We had a good time. Most of the comics were funny. Some black chick, a guy named Geoff Kole and another guy who I had seen at Ash's gig in Long Island (whos name escapes me) were all hysterical. Some blond girl was HORRIBLE. She got ZERO reaction. Barely even a chuckle. Most of her set was dead silence. She was yoinked off the stage thankfully quick. The show ends, and no Ash!! Naama won a free drink. So while she collected, we were hanging out and taking with Geoff Kole. Cool dude. We mentioned the blond girl, and he says to us "yeah, i knew she was gonna fuckin bomb", hahaha! We left and went to a bar near Sam's house and drank some more. Got home around 3 in the morning. Good times.

Yesterday, went to BB Kings to chill with my boys in Eyes of Fire. Had a damn good time! They managed to jump on that show with E Town Concrete. Went with Ash and Naama. As we're pulling up to the place, Ash says "we're just gonna walk into that place?" "yeah." "we're just gonna walk into that place like nothing?" "Yeah dude, don't worry about it." Sure enough, we walked right in. Saw my boys. Rad seeing em again. They soundchecked with a new song that's awesome. After soundcheck, the club was starting to open, and someone from the security staff comes over and asks us where are our passes. I told him that we were with Eyes of Fire, but their guest list wasn't upstairs yet. He let us chill there while they got the guest list together. He also mentioned that we couldn't go backstage without a pass. Ash then asks me this time "dude, we're getting backstage passes?" "Yeah." "Dude, are you sure??" "Yeah dude, we're golden." Sure enough, another security guy is walking by with a clipboard, and i ask him "is that Eyes of Fire's guest list?" "No, it's (whoever's) guest list." Then he glances at the next page..."THIS is Eyes of Fire's guest list." I mention "yeah, we're on it. Walter +2." He glances, confirms, and hands us our passes. Ash is amazed at my powers, haha. We go backstage and put our jackets away and i introduce them around to everyone. A shitload of people i knew were back there. After a while, a huge ass buffet was set up. I ate a chicken sandwich and a veggie burger. Yummy! Limitless free beer and other assorted drinks. We befriended the guys in LOSA, who were on tour with Eyes of Fire. Tons of liquor was consumed with them, too. Of course, since E-Town brings in a totally different crowd, during Eyes of Fire and LOSA, people were way back by the bar and the dance floor was damn near totally devoid of people. Fuckin close minded faggots. Losa were good. Don't remember the 3rd band, they were nothing special. I was never all that much of an E-Town fan. Saw a few songs and then just chilled backstage. Bounced outta there around 1230. Awesome seeing my boys again! We're planning on flying out to California later this year and doing a string of shows with em. "Anytime you wanna come out, let me know and we'll set it up" was Matt's (bassist/vocalist) exact words.

So California, here we come!!
