Avenue Q
Last night I was able to get some amazing tickets to see Avenue Q. For those that do not know about this show the best way I can describe it is Sesame Street on drugs! The show was great, the cast had amazing voices and great chemistry.
We sat 7th row Dead Center. I found a lady on Craigslist that had season tickets but could not make the show that night. She sold them to be below face value!
I had heard all the songs but to see them played out was even better.
Kate, we thought about you during the whole show. Of course it helps 1) Character call Kate Monster and 2) You first introduced us to the song "The Internet is for Porn".
We laughed so hard the whole show.
I think my new best friends are the "Bad Idea Bears"
Also on another good note, J went over to talk to our Management Company about our lease. Our original lease was set to expire on June 1st. Since we know we are going to be here through Sept. She went over to ask if they could offer us something for 3 months instead of having to go month to month(Because that meant an increase of $200 a month in rent). Surprisingly the lady was very nice and offered to extend our current lease until Sept 30th. With no increase in our rent! That is such a load off our backs.
