The Green Monster is GONE
When I graduated college and got my first job, I ran out and bought my first NEW Vehicle. It was a green Chevy S-10 pickup truck. It was cool, new and mine. That truck was perfect at the time, it was used to move myself and then myself and Jen 6 times. It lived in three states and despite being driven badly and been in a couple of accidents it would never let me down.
Last year it finally died and instead of spending more money to fix it we decided to say goodbye and let her go. So as we went to try to get rid of her, we found out there was an issue with the title that was never taken care of. So the past year has been spent working on getting the title cleared so we can move the over-sized paperweight. Yesterday J made the final payment yesterday and the title is on it's way.
MY grandfather's funeral was really nice. Everyone behaved themselves, which in my family is a major accomplishment. The church service was well done and the burial was really cool. He was given a gun salute and full military burial service. It was fun spending time with the family remembering all the cool and fun stories about him and what a great man he was.
I just saw an ad that Spring Awakenings is coming to LA, I really want to try and find a way to get tickets. I miss seeing live theatre, we missed Mandi's last show due to all the family stuff that came up.
