Ti...Cable...Stuff

So this weekend was fun.  It actually started on Thursday.  I was taking a shower, about to get ready for work, when I got a brain message that I should skip work and be with Jen.  She had an appointment with her oncologist and something told me it was more important to be with her then it was to be at work.  So I woke her up and told her I was going to spend the day with her.  The appointment was quick and mostly painless, except when she decided to use her finger-nails to dig into my hand while the DR had his hand somewhere else.  After the DR we went to Wally-World to get stuff we needed, I got more blank DVDs so I can continue my quest to rape Netflix of all the movies I can.

Friday I had to go back to work, which is kind of sucking right now.  People are tense, some are 12 year-old idiots, others are updating resumes and the rest of us have to get some actual work done.  A bunch of them went to Hooters for lunch and Drinks, which means most of them came back to work drunk.  I declined, was not in the mood to deal with it.  The rest of the afternoon consisted of me having to duck out of the way of flying balls and toys.  It's funny how a bunch of 30-50 year-old men can turn into Junior High Dorks when they get their hands on some alcohol.  I don't mind it during lunch, but some have taken to bringing it to work, that to me is WAY over the Line.

Sat we got to see all our friends for Ti's Surprise B-Day party.  Sasha deserves major points, he kept it a secret and took a beating for it from Ti.  We had a great time hanging out.  I did learn another reason why we do not have cable TV, it's called the G4 channel.  Wilhelm found it and we watched some Japanese game show that required people to ride unicycles through an impossible course.  I swear if I had cable I would never leave the house because stuff like that would suck me in and I would never return.

Sunday was an all day boat game at home.  J, Didymous and I layed around together watching movies.

New Season of Softball starts tomorrow night, looking forward to that.  Gotta put together a new lineup tomorrow as I am coach and captain of the team.
