fonts and mo' money

The previous entry shows me what happens when I type something in Word first and then post it to LJ.  It comes out in a giant font that I can't seem to change unless I click on the HTML formatting button and then remove all the coding.  Yes, the font I used in Word was a bit big but not as big as it's showing up here and not bold.  I know so little about these things.  Guess I will try typing it here first and then saving in Word.  Must figure out how to make the font here bigger though because even with my glasses it looks a bit small.

It's been interesting reading over some of my old LJ entries.  I realize how terrible my memory really is.  Why is my memory so bad that I can't remember these things that happened three years ago?  I can't even remember things that happened a few months ago. Other people don't seem to have this problem.  Victor constantly reminds me about things I said or did that I have little or no recollection of.  I suppose there's nothing I can really do...

I am about to start my first "extra" day of work in years.  Couldn't really pick up any extra shifts when I was a coordinator but now that I'm a GSR again it's relatively easy.  Just working this one extra day will more than make up for the pay cut I took in leaving the coordinator position.  That's all I have to do - work one extra day per month and my monthly salary is about $74 more than it was as a coordinator.  Crazy!  Crazy that I was so stressed out for a job that was only paying me $121 more a month!  If I wanted to, I could work several extra days in a month and earn even more.  Not that I will stress myself out like that but it is an option - one that didn't really exist in my previous role since no one swapped.  Or if they did swap, they wanted to work for you another day in exchange so they didn't lose any money.  There are plenty of people in the "new" job who don't really care about the money and just want you to work for them so they can get the day off.  Works out well for me!
