I've picked up a bunch of new readers round these parts recently, so I figured it was about time I did a "General Guide to the gnomiverse" type of post. I'm not sure I've ever done one of these before, so some of the folks who have been around here for a long time might find stuff they didn't know, either (though I'm not sure).

Things One Should Know ( Read more... )

I am just amazed at how much I had pieced together... but it's nice to have a compendium to the gnomiverse.

you don't mention your phobia of all things sci-fi. you really should warn newcomers not to mention anything involving outer space, speculative futures, or alternate realities or universes.

i was thinking of enclosing the above in sarcasm brackets, but sarcasm wasn't exactly the right word, and if i used , that might lead to an alanis earworm.

and apparently i reflexively put the angle brackets around "irony," which caused it to disappear.

Maybe I'll finally be able to keep up with you!

Hi! It's great to see you here!

Which leads me to the inevitable question -- how did you happen to find me?

I was actually able to find you through Michael's blog. I was checking if you might be on Facebook, but didn't see you there (though I did see Michael).

It is amazing to me that keeping in touch keeps getting easier...

How are things with you? I think about you often (of course, having a daughter named Nomi is a pretty good reminder :-))
