About Harry Potter:
The anticipation for Book 7 is causing a frantic little sad feeling in my heart, knowing that the fandom will change, will never again have the same sense of endless potential. I'd like to do a readdown of the series before The End comes, and over the past few days I've heard mention of four such comms:
deathly_cntdwn,
hp_reread,
hp162, and
hp7_readdown. [ETA:
162_days,
read_hp] And there are probably more that I've missed. Heh. Now I just have to decide which to watch. Are any of you going to readdown?

- I have very little memory for relative merit. I tend to get knocked over by whatever wonderful thing I'm tasting at that particular moment, and say things like, "This is the best. I have ever. Tasted." When it might be more accurate to say that it's just the most recent.
- I almost never eat a sandwich without first cutting it into quarters diagonally.
- I dilute all my fruit juices to at least half strength.
- I am enormously squicked by dishes containing more than one shape of pasta.
- My top three favorite condiments of late are horseradish, sriracha, and red wine vinegar. Not at the same time.
- Celery soda is underrated.
If you want it, consider yourself tagged.
About Supernatural:
Tall Tales is my very favorite episode ever. And I'm not just saying that because it's the most recent. I think. I really liked Asylum. I really really liked Simon Said. But Tall Tales wins everything.
I finally broke down and watched both
Cry_Wolf and
Devour, and um... Cry_Wolf was sort of enjoyably predictable. But Devour? I... I don't understand. I don't understand how it could be so bad, so very bad. I'm a little embarrassed for everyone who was involved in it. Plus I kept getting distracted by how much
Connie reminded me of
Gordon Gano.
