Birdie Birdie
Just went to Sungei Buloh with KC. It was his company event. Very excited as I have always wanted to go there and finally the chance was here!
It is quite amazing there actually if you have a really powerful binoculars! We had a tour guide to bring us around and he brought a scope with him. Wah..It felt like some documentary when you see the birds real close. They are basically all black and white birds from far but when you look inside the scope..WOW..they are colourful! Sungei Buloh is really peaceful and it is great for some quiet relaxation on weekends. I will definitely go there again. Really enjoyed myself! Bird watching is quite fun and it is definitely safer than diving I guess unless you kenna attacked by the monitor lizards there..

The monitor lizard looks damn gross right? It was quite upclose and personal kind! Oh and the spider is real leh! Massive huge! We were blowing at it to clarify that it was not fake k. It was hanging at the entrance of the Sungei Buloh. We thought it was fake at first! The ants are also quite amazing. They are the outpost ants. Apparently the will find a leaf. Align themselves horizontally on the leaf and then both of the ants at the edge will pass the leave to the next person until the leaf will close up. The ants will all be hanging in mid air when that happen. Then they will seal the leaf up with some silk thing from the baby ants. VIOLA..they make a nest with the leaf. So amazing right? See all the leaves are closed up. Inside got alot of red ants!
Wasted dun have mega super duper camera so can only take the birds at a far distance. Look at PIC 2, those white white specs are birds. They are very very cute when you see them near :D
Oh ya..the foodie looks delicious ya..that was lunch after the tiring day. KC cooked the chicken. I prepared the tofu and cooked the vege. Nowadays supermarket quite smart. They packed the brocolli and carrot and mushrooms into one pack. It's good for people who have a small family. No need to buy lots of veges just to have a dish. The tofu is very easy to prepare too. Buy the unagi sauce (quite ex though) and just pour on top of the cold tofu. It will be even better with fried onions but we were lazy. The Chicken was the best! KC's ZHAO PAI. It's Ginger Chicken! I love it :P
