Back up boredom
I'm bored. Boss isn't in his office so I think he might be out of town or some such. In any case I'm testing our backup systems restore procedure for a control node... Which means that I've turned the other computer in the room into a guinne pig, wiped it clean and started the restore. It's taking an eternity, so I am bored and writing this.
I suppose I should use this as an oppertunity to explain what has been going on in my life this week. The Really Small Processor is all caught up with the rest of the classes'. The first exam in that class I didn't do to hot on as I missed the last section (that is, I didn't get to it)... His test was easy, but everything took far too long to get through.
Danielle had to pickup her new glasses (prescription changed a lot) and didn't get to see Smallville last week. It was an alright smallville (they've done a lot better), and next weeks should be pretty good - the Flash will be on it.
I have a few things to get done tomarrow and this weekend. I want to go back to working at the Rep, as I'm really strapped for the money right now, I miss the people there and I miss the shows. Darnell is manager right now, so I know there wouldn't be any trouble in my going back -- but I've just not called. How like me is that? Grrrr... I would call now if anyone was there, and when people are there I will forget or be occupied with something else
I need to get organized. It seems like when ever I try, I start out fairly well, and then it just all falls apart. I never seem to have enough time for anything, and I know that there are enough hours in the day, because if I figure it out on paper, it works ... But the time that I find on paper just doesn't seem to work out that way in real life.
