Ok...well...since my last post was BEFORE CON (omg...what was that...almost two months ago?)...its probably overdue.
CON went as well as could be expected...better even (for the most part.) I always remember when its going on, why I'll never give it up. This year I also stumbled across Aii (Art Institutes International - Minnesota)....and made another leap...
I applied to go back to college this fall. Visual Effects & Motion Graphics....
(Mind cheers, Body lags, Pocketbook screams bloody murder)
Work has gotten both totally more hectic, as I was suddenly covering three different departments, and interesting. It seems (nothing official yet) that I may be laterally moved/promoted back to the front end of operations in our Customer Care (read:Claims) Department.
I'm already spending more time up front...and almost no time in the back. So...this time it looks positive.
We'll see.
Please don't hold your breath...its dangerous.
At con I re-connected with several people...and...sadly(?) have been drug back kicking-n-screaming into World of Warcraft. (I honestly was foolish enough to believe I'd gotten out of the addiction.../sigh).
Bathori on Feathermoon Server can now be added to those toons I've gotten over level 40...and she's destined to be my next level 70...the guild is actually small, yet active, in an alliance, and fun (for the most part).
I do miss the good old days on Eredar...and wish Madoran was more active. Third time's a charm? We'll see.
Of course, all that WoW time means that CABAL has fallen by the wayside...and lets not forget that WAR is coming on Sept 18th...I'm already connected (potentially) to two guilds...although I'm not in the Beta for it. Do I grab onto another game?
