Woodworking: Follow-ups from last weekend

I stained the work table last night. It has an oak top, poplar legs, and pine skirts at the ends, so I wanted to even out the look. I rub it heavily with boiled linseed oil today. Then I left it outside to dry, resting it on a pair of 4x4's to keep it out of the grass:
