I have arrived
Well, after fifteen horrible hours on the plane (OK, so they weren't really all that horrible), I have landed in Hong Kong. Wow. It was such a thrill to finally arrive. Every waking minute I spent on that plane (and as hard I as tried to lessen the number of waking minutes, I could not seem to stay asleep) I lived in pure agony, my only solace being that with every waking minute I was, in fact, one minute closer to my destination.
Stepping off that plane, I thought of all of the things I have waited to experience again during the past four years.
Of course, then I step outside to bask in the blazing midday heat and to breathe in the air that I know I ought not to be breathing in so deeply, and I remember the few reasons why I had wanted to get out of here ...
Anyway, I'm back. I can't wait to see my parents and brother, who are still on their way home from work/school. This return has been a long time in the making (as I said, four and a half fucking years) and I'm going to make it worth it.
