I'm thinking that when Faraday comes back, Sun will ask to go back to the island. I'm hoping the boat does not go BOOM, but I fear that's exactly what is going to happen.
I think Ben may have the same “problem” that Michael has, that the island won't let him die. Also, I bet he figures he can manipulate his way out of their clutches. If Ben is anything, it's very resourceful.
I'm now torn about who is left on the island, and who is dead. There are a few people who I would easily see staying on the island; Sawyer, Rose, Bernard and Locke. Most of the red shirts probably wouldn't want to stay, but will have to likely die on the boat. And I definitely want Desmond to get off the island and into the arms of Penny.
I wonder if the people who stay live with the Others?
And what's up with Clair?! She looked totally out of it in the cabin. I think she's dead, and we were just seeing an cabin ghost, like Christian.
Oooh I'm saving that for reading when work slows down!
Yea, you're probably right about Sun. So I guess they make it back to The Island and then some shenanigans occur and those 6 get on the boat?
I wonder about Rose and Bernard. There was a moment last week or the week before where Rose said she wanted to leave bc Locke was a bad man. Though that seems strange to me. She'll die if she leaves!
Oh! Something about your next question reminded me: is The Orchid the same as The Temple?? I'm supertorn about that one.
I think Claire is dead, too. My pal Christy thinks she died when she wandered off into the woods, tho, not in that explosion.
I still have hope that desmond and doctor chick will get off the island. they would not be part of oceanic 6.
maybe the freighter doesn't blow but gets back all secret like with non oceanic folks.
I think there are people on the island but it moved before faraday gets back and there will be sayid jack hurley on the helicopter right as the island poofs
I wonder if the non-Oceanic 6 people like Juliet and Desmond getting off depends on the outside world not knowing about it. I just don't understand why Jack and them have to lie about everything unless they're protecting someone(s) or protecting the Island under blackmail or duress from Ben. (Or the monster!)
I just remember this... they are "rescued" on Day 108! The end of Season 4 is on Day 98. There are still 10 days to go before they have to get to that other island... that's a lot of time on Lost. :D
Another awesome scene that happened was Sun buying a controlling interest in Paik! If Paik has its fingers in mysterious Dharma/island mischief, she's going to find out, eh? And she also made the teasing comment that two people are responsible for Jin's death. Who else besides her father? I guess either Ben or Michael, but those are so predictable.
OMG YES!!! Do you think that the takeover is what he was talking with his associates about when she walked up? Someone was saying they thought that conversation was supposed to appear related but really was about something else, like Ben or something? I don't know.
I'm inclined to think Michael. OR! Maybe Jin isn't dead, and Sun is going to do like Penny and use her money and determination to find Jin?
Oh, I like the idea that she knows she can get to the island through Paik knowledge and save Jin. I didn't think he was dead until this ep, because she just seemed SO ANGRY with her dad. But I suppose she could be thinking of Jin being on the island as her dad's fault, maybe...
Lostpedia says "they argue about someone who used five different bank accounts to accomplish something unnamed (though the news clearly angers Mr. Paik). Sun then reveals that she knows Mr. Paik always hated Jin, and as a result she has used her Oceanic compensation to buy a controlling interest in the business. This is most likely what Mr. Paik had been arguing about the moment earlier, not knowing who the buyer was."
Though the five different bank accounts is sneaky enough to insinuate Ben and make it seem a little unlikely that Sun did it alone. I wonder if Ben secretly set Sun up with a financial advisor to help get the idea into her head?
