That is a potentially volatile situation.

Yeah. That's why I've made sure they stay far away from the Inna (a race of all female aliens who I've also offered asylum, until they find a new world to call home).

But still ... I can't just turn my back on them. They seem sincere in their desire to not involve themselves in this potential conflict.

Actually, no one of importance even knows that I'm doing this. And ... the only one with any objections seems to be Eva ... but that's another story.

Why doesn't she support your proposal?

It's just ... hard for her to trust them, after everything they've done to Earth, not to mention during the Great Race itself. And ... she's worried that I'm putting myself and Oban in danger.

Of course I'm going to be careful, but I've gotta go with my gut on this one. This is the only way I'll be able to learn about the Crogs and their culture, and hopefully they'll be able to learn more about humans.
