our internet hasn't been working the past few days because of the heat.
and GOD THE HEAT X__X <- me = dead
It has been so hot and unbearable at camp. So bad in fact, I had to cancel the option of going to the playground at ACC and sent everyone who wasn't going to the pool to the air conditioned auditorium... while I stayed in the arch and melted while waiting for parents -_-
oh well, the techwick shirt my dad's girlfriend gave me has earned it's keep ^_^
speaking of which, my dad is throwing her a surprise party for her birthday, here at our house, and he expects ME to clean the whole house for him.
fuck no.
I'm never here! really! I'm gone 10+ hours a day and am asleep 80% of the time I am! and I'll probably have to work and not even be there for the party. Clean the dam house yourself old man!
back to camp: I totally got into a bitch fight with another staffer last friday over lemonade O_O but it was warrented, she and her lame ass son were stealing our jug of lemonade for my After Camp Care (ACC) program. which translates to her 12 lame ass campers drinking a shit load of lemonade in 45 mins. (the jugs are one of those big igloo cooler jugs you see strapped to construction trucks) THAT'S LIKE 5 GALLONS OF LEMONADE. my kids (on a normal, not drop dead from the heat day) can't go through that in 2 HOURS. AND THERE'S 65 OF THEM.
so after a lot of crying on my part and some office staff intervention, I now have lemonade (and cookies, can't forget the cookies) for my kids :) I fight for the right for my kids to have lemonade ^_~
I went to Cirque du Soleil last night! went with my friend and her parents (they bought a family 4 pack and brought me along, free of charge!!) and we saw Ovo. It's about bugs and an egg and was pretty cool. Though, I wasn't really blown away... I guess I've seen too many tv specials about their stage shows... I was hoping for some more extreme tricks and such. But! it was fun and a night out, which I don't get very often.
THOUGH! I had a super duper plan of leaving camp a little early and showering at my dad's girlfriend's place which is close to camp and Cirque and I'd go from there to Cirque..... and I forgot my key X__X so I had to **gross alert** clean up with wet ones and drown in body spray X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X_X
so yeah THAT was sucky, but oh well. and the rest of the day was great, it was the camp olympics and me and my assistant (who is awesomecakes, let me tell you, I adore this girl) were assigned a "game" and we were all 'aw man!' -_- and then we were all like, 'well, if it's a water one, it might not be so bad' and they couldn't tell us what we'd be doing until RIGHT BEFORE THE GAMES STARTED so we crossed our fingers and I snuck out to the field during our last activity and found our game and it turned out to be THE BEST WATER GAME OF THE OLYMPICS!!! It's call Leaky Can Dash (or something) and we had a big tupperware storage bucket filled with water and the kids had to fill up a coffee can, with holes in the bottom with water and run down around cones and back with the can over their heads and do it relay style with their team. WE WERE SO HAPPY. so happy in fact, we got into out bathing suits and demo'ed the game for EVERY GROUP! tehehehehe! and then right before we left to hit the pool (where I pulled something in my back doing a back somersault in the water) we had one more race and went I went to go around the cone and my feet went one way and the rest of me went WHOOMP! bam! down I went, laughing all the way!!! it didn't hurt, it was really funny, I was all laid out with my arms outstretched, clutching my can.... very funny stuff.
I get SO MANY steps at camp ^__^ I started HG and have a little Sentrent (who will be my HM slave *sob*sob*) and now I'm rockin 2 pokewalkers and hahahaha it's hilarious when kids notice it and they recognize it for what it is and they are all ?huh? and I'm all hahahaha, GROWN UPS PLAY POKEMON TOO!!!!!!!!!!
and I don't have work tomorrow!!!!!!!!!! whoooooooooo!!!!!!!!!!
