Fairly busy
So my first day back was pretty nice. I got some things done around the house that I needed to. I don't really remember much about Friday. So I can't really say anything about it...
Oh wait! Ok so my mom and I took my sister out of school after her APUSH test and went to lunch at Old Country Buffet. Ew. Then went to Barnes' and Noble. That was fun. Afterwards we went to a few other places before taking the younger sister back to school for driver's ed. After that my mom and I went to Kohl's to find her some new shirts that are casual and not covered in bleach from construction in our basement. It's looking a lot nicer in the back I might add. Once we found some decent things Mom took me to McDs to tell them I was available for work on Tuesday. They squealed when they saw me and I got a lot of hugs. It was great. My friend Jen is pregnant and I got to pat her belly. Baby!!!! I'm so excited for her. I can't help but squeak out 'baby' every once and a while. We met up with my dad at the movies and saw Spiderman 3. OMG it sucked. The beginning was fine but there were just to many problems going on. Ugh. I was praying and chanting for the credits to roll on the screen. Had dinner then went home.
On Saturday I did multiple chores around the house to help out. I have now taken on the job of mowing the yard and get paid $25 each time a week I do it. Pretty decent salary for once a week. Dad said I may have to cut the grass twice a week with how tall it got in such a short time. So that is a possible 50 dollars on top of my McD paycheck. Pretty nice. It took me 4 hours to do the front and back. The front was easy because it had been done before, but the backyard was about knee high. I had to cut it twice which nearly killed me, but I was so pleased with myself. It took a big chore off of Dad's list, I got a little tan, worked out, and got money. Nice. Dad made and amazing dinner for us: steaks and the potatoe dish. OMG so goooooooodd! After dinner Dad and I went to the mall to get Mom's present. We got a nice heart necklace that's blue. It's nice. We also got chocolate from GH.
Today was a long day because it was Mom's day so I got up early. We basically hung out in her bed picking on her and hiding from Mac in the middle. Hahaha he kept beating Lauren up...maybe because we kept sacrificing her to his jaws and his toy ring. That was fun. We did a lot of chores around the house and the front garden was redone a little so it looks nicer. Mom loves it. I worked from 4-1am and my feet hurt. I've been sitting so much from classes and homework that I'm not use to being on my feet for 9 hours. Well I'm not going to work 40 hours a week this summer. I'm going to be working over next semester and pack my schedule so I don't want to burn out over the summer for next school year.
