Heads will roll
My step-daughter is missing.
Or at least her father and I don't know where she is.
Last night Dave got a text from Liz saying that her mother was sick, and that she had yelled at her for not cleaning the cat box right. Liz proceeded to use the vacuum and swiffer to clean the bathroom floor. (where the cat box resides) She left the cat box on the toilet to let the floor dry. Her mother comes in (apparently needing to barf) and instead of just moving the cat box, she throws it on the floor, necessitating a third cleaning. Somewhere in or after this she threatens to shove Liz down the stairs. Liz calls us, and she calls the cops. The cops dome out and apparently tell her she can be taken to juvy for making 'false claims'. even though her mother is on diversion for child abuse.
After all this Dave left a message for the ADA who has been working with him on this.
This morning the ADA called Dave and told him to call the school, setup a conference call with Liz, etc. He calls, the Principal says that they have something to finish up, and they will go pull Liz and call back. Time goes by and finally it is ascertained that Liz was not accounted for in first hour (school starts at 7:50am) and a student thinks they saw Liz in second hour, but she didn't stay in the classroom. Her mother was at class this morning, but did not go to work today. No one has been able to get in contact with her, until Dave called at about 3 on the pretense of asking if Liz needed to be picked up tonight. But she just said that Liz wouldn't be going to Kaufman tonight. Which means she has been dodging phone calls from the officials. It wouldn't surprise us at all if she hit Liz and is just trying to hide her out til the marks fade.
So, bottom line is we still don't know where they are or what shape Liz is in.
I really don't like that woman.
