How odd.
As a member of the Hogwarts faculty, Head of Slytherin House, and resident Potions Master, I feel it is my duty to fill a leadership role and help to defend the student population against future attacks of this nature.
Students should be extra careful in the corridors, especially at night. I would be more than willing to offer my services as an escort (yes, that sort of escort as well should you be so inclined...). Students who feel threatened, scared, etc. should feel free to come down to my office at any time...
I have put in a request that, should this situation not be resolved, my dungeons could most certainly act as a place for housing students... in order to... keep them out of harm's way.
It could be worse ...at least it wasn't a Slytherin.
