Today I wore a red cardigan and my boss thought I was celebrating Valentine's Day. Truly I forgot the date!
I've had my foot in my mouth for the past day or so, because Wednesday night I came home late from work to a clean apartment, lit candles, a huge bouquet of flowers and gifts from Rick! Not only that, he put effort into each thing by purchasing scrap booking bits and pieces to add some bling to the vase and wrapping paper. AND he also bought a pink band and strung "I <3 Rick" onto it. Haha! Silly, but thoughtful.
Here are some pictures of my bling'd out vase, flowers and bracelet!
Rick took a picture that Paula had printed out for us and chose a frame for it! He did a great job. The lil basket in front of the frame was arranged by him, as well. He had my bracelet propped on top of the flowers and my favorite orange tacs.
Wrapped in red paper and adorned with some scrap booking letters that spelled our "Kira" and a few little flowers was a GoPro camera! Evidently the best one you can buy. Whaaat. He had heard me talking about it and how I very much wanted one, so I could mount it on Walter or take it hiking (when the weather is warmer) or go to the beach and not worry about its safety. So he bought me one. I am so grateful!
Here are three pictures I took with it today. This is my apartment building of 10 units. Walter and I are standing on the mid-level deck where vehicles can park underneath. He has a gator-kill in his little mouth.
Here's a picture where I can control the camera from my iphone.
So grand! Really excited to do more things with it. Rick took a few videos and they came out great. I love the wide-angle lens.
Rick was very happy with his gifts, too. I believe he will use his "Cinema: Admit Two" ticket this weekend to see Robocop. I'm excited!
Anyway. That's all for now. I hope everyone with a special someone is having a nice Valentine's Day, even if it's a bit too much of a fuss.
