(no subject)
Its been two weeks so I figured I'd update.
Angie spent the weekend with me and we had a blast!!! We went to visit a friend of hers and eat at the Purple Onion on Thursday. The Purple Onion was a first for us all and it was pretty decent. On Friday we ran a couple of errands, had lunch in the Food Court of the Galleria, I went to work and then went to the B'ham Museum of Art for "Art on the Rocks" and finally we went to Banana Joes where I drank entirely too much and regretted the rest of the night. Saturday I felt sick most of the day but we took the kids to choir rehearsal and then we saw Mr and Mrs. Smith later on that night. Angie left Sunday morning as we all went to church. The weekend was great and I'm looking forward to more of my friends coming to visit.
On June 30th I am going to the John Legend and Lyfe Jennings concert. I can't wait!! It's gonna be so awesome.
On June 18th my parents leave for their 10 day medical mission trip to Liberia, West Africa. This will be the 5th year they have gone on one of these trips. Two years to Venezuela, Two years to Ghana and this is their first to Liberia.
Work Is great!! Right now I am in the process of planning a talent show and a Karoke night for the kids. I think both will be at the end of this month. Lia is helping me with them both and I'm sure everything will be a blast.
Well, I am off to do what it is that I am supposed to be doing and that is work. Later.....
