I'm no longer a contract employee. In fact, effective December 1, 2006, I'm full-time permanent with bennies!

My birthday isn't until tomorrow, but I had to share that today. Carry on. :)

It was a reward for participating in the R-REWARDS Commuter Club/Redmond Trip Reduction Incentive Program and for not driving to work alone. It sure comes in handy this time of the year, believe me!

I found out yesterday that I didn't get the clerical job at the hospital that's walking distance from my home. I was SO looking forward to this job. I felt that I aced the interview two weeks ago. A couple of weekends ago, I went to a retreat put on by my place of employment. The name of the retreat was "Tending the Flame", and it was held at a convent in Bellevue, WA.
