Four years ago today, I posted about a tragedy that took place on this date in 1963. For that reason, I won't post a new entry, since I think that would be redundant. Instead, I'll just link you to the post I made on September 15, 2004.

Racism is not a forest; racial slurs pelted at black Republican candidates are not trees falling silently. People hear them, people see them and they are coming from a Democrat near you. Yes, the Rainbow Coalition party has a dirty little secret: racist practices against blacks who dare to speak differently.

A Vancouver radio station was reprimanded on Wednesday for running an episode of a U.S. show whose host mocked the Holocaust by saying "Burn those Jews. Gas 'em in the shower, Baby."

A health authority has apologized after a black patient due to have a foot amputated was offered a white prosthetic replacement.
