"I am not a number! I am a free man!"

My husband and I watched another episode of The Prisoner last night on DVD. I can see why the show never became a commercial hit. It was too surreal for most audiences. Thank goodness people are discovering it now. Actually, my husband has been instrumental in introducing the show to me. When it was on the air in the late sixties, I must have been watching something else that was on at the same time opposite it. I had to have been; otherwise, I would've enjoyed that show. I was a precocious child and loved that kind of programming.

Speaking of surreal, walking into work today seemed surreal to me. Last week, I was more depressed than usual, and it was almost as if last week never happened. This week feels like I have an opportunity to start anew. For one thing, I have my first session with my brand new therapist after work today. Then tomorrow, I'm getting my hair cut at Diversity Hair. I wish I could get my digital camera to communicate with the software that came with it. Then I could upload a picture of me after my haircut. Oh well, I'll figure something out.

Happy Monday!
