PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT

...forgot my cell phone at home! Help!*
I have this daily ritual during the week where the alarm on my phone goes off. As soon as that happens, I drop my phone into my backpack. I did all of that as usual this morning, but for some reason, I took the phone out of my backpack and put it on top of my coat, which was on the bed. Apparently, when I grabbed my coat to put it on, the phone must have dropped onto the bed. It wasn't until I was already on the bus that I realized I didn't have my phone with me. What a sick and unsettling feeling that was (is)! And because I work 17 miles away from where I live (I work in Redmond, live in Seattle), I couldn't very well turn around and go back home to get my phone. So it looks like I'll be separated from my phone for at least eight hours. And I have chorus rehearsal after work, so I won't have time to go get the phone in between work and rehearsal, either. (Although I may not even make rehearsal tonight since I'm still sick, though better.)
So please don't send me any text messages until this evening, okay?
*Now, before anyone jumps on me about being addicted to my cell phone, I should point out that it's the only way most people can get a hold of me.
