(no subject)
Okay! on the Reggio listserve my boss and many others have been debating the daycare/preschool lableing. but you know what really gets me is when people say that i don't want my kid in daycare because they won't get the love and attention they need. while it's true that a childs own parent loves their own child more than the world, i happen to know that in a good child care inviorment every child is loved and gets plenty of attention. being a child care provider myself i know that every child i have come in contact with i have honestly love and cared for. hell i have kids that i still keep in contact with although they have moved to different states and gone on to school. i also make sure to maintan very good relationships with the parnets of my kids. the ones i am closest to were at my wedding! although it may just be because my child care center is more like an extended family than a "daycare", i feel taht every child should be so lucky. children need to socilize with childeren of their own age at a very early age. i have noticed children begining bonds at 6 months. my son has a friend that he has had since he was 8 months old. ugh i can't finninsh this now.. must go off to work. my kiddo's are waiting :}
as for this weekend.. birthday parties and wet n wild... plus the LAS VEGAS ROCKAROUND is here.. hot chicks fast cars and great bands YAY! i love this convention! plus all the pretty ladies.. sadly i can't join in the shots and such due to being due :p the DR is thinking may be march 3 or 4 *crosses her fingers for a girl*
