Sorry you didn't get into GSA. :-( But yeah, you should have applied for junior and sophmore years b/c those really are most likely to get in (they insist that all grade levels have an equal chance of getting in, but everyone involved outside the GSA knows better :-P) Oh well, the GSA theatre program doesn't necessarily mean you'll get cast there either. When I saw "How to Succeed in Buisness Without Really Trying" there was only one person from the theatre program in the entire cast!

It really is a shame that PA's theatre program doesn't appreciate you. My thespian troupe would have been thrilled to have you in their productions if you went to Green Run instead. I don't think your acting's sucky. Granted the biggest opportunity I've had to see you act was the intro to yours and Dan's talk, but I've seen people with a lot less talent cast in major roles. So don't be put off by those spoiled bastards at PA. You know how they say that you don't fully appreciate what you have until it isn't there anymore? Well PA's theatre dept. doesn't know what its like to not have a good supply of talented actors and actresses to fill their roles and as a result, they won't appreciate you regardless of how well you can act unless you're a part of their "in" crowd.

And finally, since sillyness = feeling better....

*trumpets blare as Bobby charges onto the PA stage in a blue mask and green cape waving around a yard stick like its a fencing rapier*

"Alright you windbags! You all suck and I'm starting a boycott on all your future productions because you're all a bunch of Mean and Nasty Bungholes and you're mean to my friends. You better treat Laura as good as she deserves from now on or I'll be back to..to...smite your sets into oblivion! Yeah! So stop being Mean, Stupid Dipshits or else!"

*throws silver horseshoes with the words "Secret Stallion" engraved on them at the Mean, Nasty, Stupid People, hitting them in the head and giving them all headaches for life, then runs off* :-P

lmao, but I did! The first comment is associated via nesting with what James said, the second is an extension of the first because I accidently left that part out when I was typing it, and the third is associated via nesting with Laura's original entry. And now look! You're making me do it again, because I need yet another seperate comment to make it associated with what you said! :-P

really only one person from their theatre department? then who else was in it, bc dont they do plays soley for that department? ugh whateva i know i made a stupid mistake, but whateva maybe it will work out for the best. maybe. i just keep telling myself how much pa will regret the fact that i wasnt their star performer when i make it to the big time. but i know that wont ever happen so whatever.
ok, so that little picture of u going to go "beat up" the shitheads of pa(ie nult/dodd) reminded me of beavis and butthead, i miss that show, "i am cornholio and i need tp for my bunghole" hahahaha wow ok so im immature, get ova it. and then ur stallion remark reminded me of bill and ted, u know wylde stallions. oh yes good times good times. u have made me laugh.

It was all people from the dance and voice departments. I would assume their non-musicals would have mostly theatre people, but I've always liked musicals best myself.

And if you want, I'll send you "The Continuing Legend of Secret Stallion" sometime. Its a serial comedy/parody that I wrote for Excalibur (the newsletter for Green Run's gifted program) during my junior and senior years. Funny stuff, and its what inspired that little scenario. ;-)

Yeah, I definately enjoy being in non-musicals more b/c I get good roles without having to worry about crappy singing and dancing holding me back. lol, when I was in Cinderella last year, I won two thespian awards for my crappy dancing as "the clumsy man" :-P
