A journey into the abyss
This week and last have been quite interesting. I am awaiting just one acceptance letter from the 10 colleges I applies to in December, enjoying life as usual, and I am starting to think that my mother is not who she says she is.
For starters, I completed the entire application process on my own, without any of her help, she didn’t like not having control over me in that situation. So, when I handed her the FAFSA forms and told her it needed to be done by Feb. 1st I thought, this is a perfect opportunity to see how she really feels about helping me. Well, the forms were completed, and the rest was up to me. So I had to apply for a PIN for her. And it seems that she is not Mary Katherine O’Neill, with that social security number, or birthday. SO…. it is now Feb. 18th and I have yet to fill out the freaking forms because there is a stranger living in my house. PSYCO!!!!!!!! I am now on a mission to find my true mother who is Katherine, or just find out what exactly my lied about on her social security card. She really is nuts.
Next, I have a really good friend that lives in Massachusetts and he was actually supposed to come to RI to visit during the vacation, but due to extremely unfortunate situations, he was detained in MA. Today, I find out if in fact he is, let’s say, ok.
Other than that this vacation has been quite fabulous. I have been chilling with Phil, because we just never get to see each other (hahahahaha), Dave, and Ali and it has been good fun. Last night I met Ali’s friend Shawna, who was awesome. We all had a long, but fun night. We made steak for Phil and I, and chicken for Shawna and Ali, then we had mashed taters, and string beans.
Besides that my vacation and life have been ok. I deal with amazing frustration, and anger on one hand and the amazing love and happiness on the other, but it’s ok I am totally rocken’ it.
