(no subject)
it is very possible i failed my first math test today. it's alright. i have a mountain of studying to do, and so much reading. i don't mind that, either. my english teacher is indulging my neal cassady fascination, and i like that he studied with allen ginsberg. i think i can get through this year, somehow. responsibility is strange. chris is still 7 hours and 434 miles away, somewhere in virgina wearing a very silly uniform. i miss him too much. i keep waiting for one of those surprise phone calls. i can't wait to see him, and have someone to talk to and drive around with and watch movies and help me write papers. 3 weeks to go! it's hard to be optimistic.
