Terremoto

Feb 27, 2010 14:25

That must've been one of the scariest nights of my life. The earthquake was so long and so strong, and I didn't remember the one in 85' properly, so this was pretty much my first terremoto (big big earthquake).
The walls of my apartment got cracks in the paint, everything on my shelves fell down, my full length mirror broke in pieces... but fortunately it was nothing serious. Right now the replicas are still going, which is pretty scary. But the scariest part was not being able to get through to my mom on the phone. She has a heart decease and I was terrified. But at last she picked up and she and my brother were fine, as are all my friends and family so far. Including my best friend's mom, who lives in the city were the epicenter was.

The rest of the country is in pretty bad shape, but nowhere near what it could've been.
