Johnson's Baby Shampoo is apparently great for removing waterproof mascara. I haven't tried it yet but my mom swears by it. Sounds good, then you dont have to scrub at it and irritate the skin around your eyes so it looks dark or lose unneccessary lashes to the scrubbing process. Plus, its tear-free shampoo so it wont hurt your eyeballs. Neat idea, huh? Can't wait to try it myself.
Also, I was watching Man vs Wild and Bear Grylls was, as usual, trying to start a fire with two sticks. Anyway, he happened to make a comment that you can help prevent blisters from forming on your hands by smacking them togethe, hard so it stings a bit. This is supposed to bring the blood to the surface and thus prevent the blister. Well, one night I wore this super cute pair of wedges on a date night with Erik and since my feet aren't used to shoes with any height whatsoever, at the end of the night i had the beginnings of a blister on one foot. I remembered the show and gave the area a few sharp smacks and viola, not a blister to be seen.
I've picked up a couple of legitimately useful tips lately. :)
