You guys, this Yu-Na and Brian situation is breaking my heart. I just don't know what to think! There are so many conflicting stories, and everyone's blaming everyone else, and I really don't want to think any less of Yu-Na or Brian, but someone somewhere's got to be in the wrong, right? August really has been a shitty month for lowering my opinion

you're certainly not the only one heartbroken over yuna and brian. :/ i really don't like how it's being handled. all the... animosity's coming out of nowhere! they've always looked happy and then suddenly this. they were the last coach/figureskater i would've expected this from. :( and i thought the priscilla/johnny break-up was bad, ugh.

this is the most drama-filled fandom i've ever been in, goodness.

Ugh, I know. Everything I read about them just made me love them as a team! Brian teaching Yu-Na to have fun! It's just so shocking. It's strange, skating is one of the few fandoms where all the drama seems to come from outside, as opposed to wank from the fans.

JGL'S POUT IS SO PRECIOUS. I love all the faces he pulls in photoshoots.

I am... really conflicted over the DWTS thing, mainly because I'm worried that he'll be constantly compared to Evan, or not do as well, which would be awful.

'unf' is my default reaction to JGL, I'm pretty sure.

I've been slipping away from the figure skating fandom in the last few weeks. I'd vaguely heard about them splitting up, but I've just had a look at ontd-skating and it looks like a real mess. It's really sad, since they always seemed like such a happy, good team.

Can I get a link to your delicious? I love browsing through peoples delicious accounts and finding awesome fics. (As a side note, I love SGA and it's seriously amazing fandom. I'm not surprised that a lot of your favourite stories are from that fandom)

Inception fandom has kind of taken over my brain at the minute, probably in part due to skating fandom being pretty quiet. (I think the Evan thing didn't help, in that respect.) But yeah, the whole situation is pretty awful.

It's under the same name, here! It's a bit of a mess, though (organisation is not my strong point). Oh man, SGA fandom - I came pretty late into it, and I remember spending the first three months just going through and reading all those fandom classics. I keep meaning to go back and read some of my favourites again.

Oh man, I just want to go and reread Towards Zero right now. It was brilliant in every way. (Also, if you're looking for more recs you should go read this - it blew me away, and I'm still trying to put my finger on just what I loved about it so much, but it's definitely worth reading.)

SGAAA. As I was writing this post, I was thinking 'maybe I just had lower standards for tagging the things I really loved back then' and then I went back and looked at the fics I'd tagged, and was like '...no, it really was that awesome a fandom'.
