crummy christmas.
so, here i sit... AT WORK on christmas eve.
yes, i know; thrilling.
i have a total of five check-ins tonight. FIVE.
i am incredibly bored and depressed about christmas this year.
reasons why:
(1) the weather SUCKS. it has been rainy and in the 70's for the past like 3 weeks. P-I-S-T pissed. wtf. it's supposed to be at least cold. if it were freezing cold, i would be willing to overlook the rain. [[shrug]] oh well. yay for humidity. -_-;
(2) i have to work on both christmas eve(3 PM until 11 PM) AND christmas(5 PM until 11 PM).
(3) i have no money to buy christmas decorations or gifts for anyone (including chris, which makes me feel like a terrible girlfriend).
(4) i got my christmas gifts from my mom at thanksgiving (they were clothes that i needed for the [THEN] cold weather) so i have nothing to open/look forward to. i know that's not the reason for christmas, blah blah blah, but i can't help but feel a little disappointed. christmas is going to be completely anti-climatic.
(5) i need a pet. i know this is a little off-subject, and i have more than likely complained about it before, but i REALLY want a kitten to keep me company when i am at home alone and chris is at work. this is not feasible, of course, because our apartment complex is not pet-friendly... i don't even know why i am complaining because there is nothing to be done about any of this...
