The wedding was a treat, very much like the Darwin parties when we were young and beautiful. I think I knew about 70% of the people there, though some I avoided and others I tried to avoid ha ha. It was really good to see those i have not seen in a age. There was a complete program that went for a week( brunch at mushroom beach, women/mens business, the wedding, treasure hunt, masquerade ball, benefit gig..) so it was like burningman only smaller and with everyone we knew, almost.
I had mixed feelings when Tim and Eamon sang and played Cheeky Cupid, especially when it was a song written for and sung at mine and Grants wedding 11 years ago..
what was really cool was when we all lit lantens and watch them drift off into the stars. It was magical. It really was. I hope someone managed to get some pics of that.
It's been a long time, and there are some pretty buried stuff that Tida managed to get out of me as we were lunching by the pool in our Villa. So me and Lari had a good laugh as Tida listened attentively and Pete tried to be nonchalant.
Some of the little ones got sick and I am so glad that we didn't bring ours..
Yes I'm very brown.
