So me and prongs_padfoot thought that we should do a Valentine's Day contest! I'm really surprised there aren't more fics for the most romantic holiday of the year.

The contest begins right now! It ends at noon EST on Thursday, February 14th, 2008.

Are songfics allowed, if we don't count the lyrics as part of the word count? I doubt I would do this for a contest but if I don't come up with anything else I am curious.

We're going to say no on songfics for now, but if you ask, and it seems absolutely appropriate, we might allow it :) It's just a matter of the "No prompt/Challenge" originality type rule thing.
