OMSI is putting on "Science Pubs" where scientists go out to local pubs and talk about their science in an informal setting.  This sounds like it could be really interesting if you want to go hang out with some friends and learn about how sex influences social bonding in bonobos or some other cool topic.  The above link is to the list of topics.
